Product Description

In this instructional program, a Microbot TeachMover robot arm is mounted in a model of the Space Shuttle. Using headsets, one student directs another student to operate the robotic arm to group satellites and place them in the shuttle bay. The second student acts as mission control and operates the teach pendant of the robot according to verbal instructions. The robot can also be used as a stand-alone training aid.

Scenario

The robotic arem has failed! The astronaut must guide mission control, using verbal commands only. Guided by the astronaut, the mission control operator programs the teach pendant to grasp satellites and load them into the cargo bay.
